Sonakshi’s the new face of D’Damas

Bollywood Actress Sonakshi Sinha’s endorsement cup is truly running over – it’s just been announced that the ‘Dabangg’ girl is the new face of the D’Damas diamond jewellery brand. Sonakshi has taken over from Preity Zinta.
“Sonakshi Sinha is the face of the new Indian woman who is confident, versatile and has got tremendous self-belief. She has the charisma, grace, beauty and the attitude that goes perfectly with the brand image,” said R.K. Menon, COO, D’damas Jewellery India Pvt Ltd.
The 23-year-old is also associated with brands including Dyna Soap, Colgate toothpaste and the Provogue’s women wear line. Katrina Kaif earlier endorsed Dyna, and Sonakshi’s taking over the ad, led to an alleged tiff between the two Salman Khan heroines. Reportedly, Sonakshi sent Kat an sms to explain what happened but never got a response.
Meanwhile, Sonakshi said about her new D’Damas role, “I connect with D’Damas because I personally live each moment to the fullest and believe in celebrating life. D’Damas adds celebration to both ordinary and even the everyday special occasions.”

Who will romance Aishwarya in ‘Heroine’- Imran, Prateik or Ranbir?

Which actor will get the golden chance of romancing Bollywood Queen Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in ‘Heroine’, Imran Khan, Prateik Babbar or Ranbir Kapoor. According to the latest update, the hunt for Aishwarya’s second hero is still on and Madhur Bhandarkar is having a tough time in deciding the lead actor. Arjun Rampal has already been zeroed and now the movie director is looking for the second lead.
Among the three, none of them have acted alongside Aishwarya Rai before. A Bollywood source commented, “Ash has a very interesting track with a young actor who falls in love with her. He basically uses her to climb the social ladder and make it big in the industry. There are also a few romantic scenes between the actor and Ash. It’s a role that’s being battled for between the three actors.”
Whoever be decided, he will involve in some steamy scenes with Ash. Three of them are talented stars and Madhur is yet to finalize the second hero. According to a source, “The decision is yet to be made but it will be one of these three guys. Madhur is still in the process of casting and will be making his decision in the coming weeks.”

Shahrukh Khan to lip-lock Kareena Kapoor in Ra. One

Bollywood Superstar Shahrukh Khan might have carried the tag of being a romantic hero for decades but the king of romance had never lip-locked with any of his co-actress in his long tenure of acting career. He has maintained his no-kisser image for long time. But now, Shahrukh Khan has decided to shed his shy image and kiss his ladylove Kareena Kapoor (Bebo) in his upcoming Bollywood Movie ‘Ra. One’.
It is rumored that for a romantic track in ‘Ra. One’, Bebo and SRK will indulge in a deep smooch.
When contacted, an insider from the film says, “The buzz about them having smooched is very strong indeed. There have been so many queries on this kiss so far, but sorry we can’t divulge anything related to the film at all.”
However, a close friend of the superstar rubbishes the rumor, “No way!” says the source. “Shah Rukh’s never ever done it before. It’s a promise he’d made and he won’t break it for anything. Besides, he’s never had to resort to kissing-on-the-lips for his romantic image. He’s definitely not doing it now!” added the good friend.
However, the authenticity of the bollywood report will be vivid clear once the film hit the theatre this Diwali.

Salman to steal Ranbir’s Girl

 Ranbir Kapoor and Salman Khan have history. Ranbir Kapoor began dating Khan’s girl Katrina Kaif two years ago.The romance began on the sets of their film Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani (and continued during Raajneeti). Will history repeat itself? It is learnt that Salman now wants to romance RK’s girl Nargis Fakhri.
Towards the end of the year, Salman Khan will get into the super-hero garb for his younger brother Sohail Khan’s film titled Sher Khan (and not Tarzan) as reported. Sohail has worked on the script of this film for a long time and it is wildly exciting, say sources.
Even as the girls — Katrina Kaif, Sonakshi Sinha and others start lining up for the role of Sher Khan’s leading lady, trade sources indicate that Salman may team up with the Rockstar girl Nargis Fakhri. Says our source, “Sohail either wants a fresh face or he wants his brother to pair up with Nargis.”‘ We hear the producers of Rockstar, who are also advising Nargis on her career, will be happy if she bags a film with Bhai.

Deepika Padukone refuses big money to dance at private bash

Bollywood Girl Deepika Padukone turned down Rs 4 crore for a private dance in London. The offer was to perform for a wealthy Punjabi family at an upscale club.

The offer was specific. That she dance only to her upcoming Bollywood Movie Dum Maaro Dum item number. “It was supposed to be a private party with family members and friends only.  Since Deepika‘s sporting an extremely sexy look in the song, they wanted her to wear the skimpy shorts and perform the same moves,” revealed a source.

A source from London reveals, “The DMD song has been playing in night clubs. The family who made the offer is extremely rich and wealthy and from Knightsbridge. They were ready to pay her a bomb just for one song. The actress initially thought it was a joke, but when the proposal came in form of a letter with the amount cited, she was shocked. She has had many such offers in the past, but has always refused them.”
The family was totally disappointed because they had already booked the club and tried to recreate the entire visual appeal of the song. Close sources to Deepika commented upon the incident as, “The offer was made to her. But she has made it very clear that private parties are not her scene. She wouldn’t do it for any amount.”
Deepika Padukone has been in London for three months now, shooting for Desi Boyz. Some of Bollywood Actresses who seemed to have performed at such private parties are Katrina Kaif, Ameesha Patel, Mallika Sherawat and Rani Mukerji.

I might even think that Megan is a better actor than Rosie, judging solely from the absolutely terrible clip released of the new Transformers movie. “When I started modelling, I was definitely heavier,” she says in ELLE magazine’s June issue. “I was quite voluptuous in fact. I had a real baby face and baby fat. But I was a baby! I was told I had to get into better shape, but I’m quite stubborn so I didn’t. I can’t remember a time where I really battled with my body, but I can remember being asked to lose weight and battling with the advice. It hurt me. Especially as my baby fat naturally melted away as I got older.”
But in true bombshell fashion, the 24-year-old Brit stood strong. “You can bullied as a young model, but there was a point where I found my voice, effectively.”

The starlet will make her debut on the big screen this summer in Transformers: Dark Side of the Moon, where she plays Carly Miller. She replaces one of Hollywood’s well-known hot bodies, Megan Fox, in the action-flick series.\
