Bollywood Actress Sonakshi Sinha’s endorsement cup is truly running over – it’s just been announced that the ‘Dabangg’ girl is the new face of the D’Damas diamond jewellery brand. Sonakshi has taken over from Preity Zinta.
“Sonakshi Sinha is the face of the new Indian woman who is confident, versatile and has got tremendous self-belief. She has the charisma, grace, beauty and the attitude that goes perfectly with the brand image,” said R.K. Menon, COO, D’damas Jewellery India Pvt Ltd.
The 23-year-old is also associated with brands including Dyna Soap, Colgate toothpaste and the Provogue’s women wear line. Katrina Kaif earlier endorsed Dyna, and Sonakshi’s taking over the ad, led to an alleged tiff between the two Salman Khan heroines. Reportedly, Sonakshi sent Kat an sms to explain what happened but never got a response.
Meanwhile, Sonakshi said about her new D’Damas role, “I connect with D’Damas because I personally live each moment to the fullest and believe in celebrating life. D’Damas adds celebration to both ordinary and even the everyday special occasions.”
