`Office Office` movie to release in August

The big screen adaptation of popular TV show `Office Office` is set to release on August 5.

Veteran actor Pankaj Kapur, who reprises his character of Mussaddi Lal in the movie, is returning to the silver screen after four-years. His last film was 2007 movie `Halla Bol`.

Alongwith Kapur, the entire cast of `Office Office returns in the film, which is being directed by Rajiv Mehra and produced by Eagle Films Pvt Ltd.

The other actors who gained recognition from the show, which deals with the corruption in government offices, are Sanjay Mishra (recently seen in `Phas Gaye Re Obama`), Deven Bhojani, Manoj Pahwa, Hemant Pandey, and Asawari Joshi.

Gaurav Kapoor, Farida Jalal and Makarand Deshpande are the latest to join the ensemble cast while Oscar-winning lyricist Gulzar has penned the lyrics with Sajid Wajid providing tunes.

"This is a film with a twist to the `Office Office` Saga. Pankaj Kapur is an outstanding actor and adds life to the character written on the paper for him," Verma said.

Kapur is a critically acclaimed actor and the characters played by him in films like `Ek Doctor Ki Maut`, `Maqbool`, `The Blue Umbrella` are still remembered.
