Jennifer Hawkins has revealed that no booze, regular boxing and Pilates classes, a salt-free diet and plenty of water are the keys to a perfect bikini body.
The former Miss Universe, who showed her curves while shooting her new Cozi by Jennifer Hawkins bikini collection on a remote West Australian beach, said that she sticks to a very strict diet and exercise regime to get the perfect shape.
“I laid off alcohol for three weeks and I feel good for that,” the Daily Telegraph quoted her as saying.
“I always am quite healthy but I like to have a glass of wine every now and again.
“I have a new (personal) trainer, so that has been really fun to do something different. I’ve been boxing and doing weight training and doing lots of repetitions. I’ve also been doing yoga and Pilates,” she stated.
Hawkins, 27, also said that she had to put an extra emphasis on toning her mid-section before the shoot.
“I amp up work on my core section. I definitely make sure I do a lot of ab (abdominal) work and I lay off salt. You have just got to think about what you eat and be sensible,” she revealed.
“People say no carbs, but I say low carbs. I find my energy levels are really bad (with no carbs).
“And drinking water, so much water, that is the key to good skin,” she added.
