Sex tapes featuring Kings of Leon band mates stolen

Kings of Leon’s frontman Caleb Followill has revealed that the sex tapes featuring the band have been stolen.

Followill, who said that the band are not upset about their naked bodies being seen in the saucy tapes, wanted to include the footage in their new documentary ‘Talihina Sky’ to make it more interesting.

“There’s a couple of sex tapes on one of the tapes that got stolen, so that would have made it a little more interesting,” News.com.au quoted him as saying.

However, he believes that the stolen tape that were shot eight years ago would surface one day after they are dead.

“I guess when we’re dead and gone it will resurface. There was quite a bit we weren’t able to show (in the documentary) because we had our car broken into after we were making the first record.

“We’d documented every bit of it and they stole all the footage,” he said.

The movie is set to premiere at the Edinburgh international film festival this coming weekend.

Kim`s sister Khloe posted a photo on her blog, showing her sister posing with her X-ray, reports people.com.

US campaigners to appeal against court’s approval of unprotected sex in porn movies

Health campaigners in US have said that they intend to appeal against the California Court’s decision to allow porn actors to have unprotected sex on the sets of pornographic films.

The Aids Healthcare Foundation (AHF) had been seeking to force public health officials in Los Angeles county, the global headquarters of the pornographic industry, to carry out regular inspections to ensure that performers are not being exposed to sexually-transmitted diseases.

However, the California Court of Appeal this week upheld a decision that county health officers should be allowed to exercise their own discretion about the best way to achieve safety in the adult entertainment workplace.

At present, those officers generally allow consenting adults to go about their business as they see fit.

“The county of Los Angeles has the duty to protect public health, one of the highest responsibilities of local government,” the Independent quoted AHF’s Tom Myers as saying in a statement.

He announced that his organisation will now challenge that decision at the California Supreme Court.

“It simply cannot ignore this duty and blithely sit by while thousands of people contract STDs,” he added.

Hubby forced LaToya Jackson to go ‘topless’ for Playboy!

In her new book, Michael Jackson’s sister LaToya has revealed that hers going topless in the 1989 Playboy edition was a result of alleged abuse by her husband.

The revelation has come as a contradiction to Jackson’s earlier claims that the act was a declaration of independence in response to her conservative upbringing.

“He forced me to do Playboy and then he had me say, ``Oh this is all my idea, it``s something I wanted to do,`` so he was very clever like that,” Fox News quoted her as saying.

“I would never do Playboy again,” she added.

55-year-old LaToya has bared all about her tumultuous relationship with her husband in her book.

Actress Minissha Lamba has been teamed up with actor Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi in director Anand Kumar`s next film "Zilla Ghaziabad".

"I have recently signed `Zilla Ghaziabad`. It`s a fantastic plot and am very excited to work with Sanjay Dutt," Minissha told IANS.

Sanjay Dutt is playing the real life character of Thakur Pritam Singh, a zamindar from Bulandshahr in Uttar Pradesh who turned into a cop, in the film.

Before this hard-hitting action-drama, Minissha has two comedies - Shirish Kunder`s "Joker" and Sagar Bellary`s "Hum Tum Aur Shabana" - in a row.

Shah Rukh blames smoking habit on days with theatre

Bollywood super star Shah Rukh Khan blames his initial days with theatre for his smoking habit.

Recalling his days as a theatre actor in Delhi, he said: "I remember when a fireplace was put up, the guys used to go behind the fireplace to smoke and put out the fire. That`s how I also started smoking and it is not my fault. It has (this habit) got all to do with theatre."

The Badshah of Bollywood, who arrived in Toronto for the 12th International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) awards ceremony, said he would love to return to theatre as it was his first love.

"I belong to theatre. I started off doing a lot of stage in Delhi... first small time and then a little on the streets. Always the desire was to be a theatre actor. I used to work with John Barry and even Sheilaji - a lot of wonderful producers, directors. We used to go out and perform in small little theatres and on stages."

He added, "The Kingdom of Dreams (in Gurgaon) wants me to come and perform under the tutelage of Shiamak Davar."

Challenging Dawar and making fun of his knee problem, he said, "My dance is better than yours even on one leg."

When a reporter asked him in lighter vein in Hindi, "Kya mard ko dard naahi hota: (whether a man like him doesn`t feel pain) - Shah Rukh replied in the same vein - "Mard ko bahut dard hota hai" (the man feels a lot of pain).

The actor said he was advised two weeks ago not to perform, but he didn`t want to go back on his commitment to Wizcraft "who have been very kind to me all these years".

He said his knee surgery is scheduled for July.

Shooting lovemaking scenes gives nightmares to director

Showing intimate scenes on the big screen is not taboo in the film industry any more and filmmakers often include a good dose of it.
But director Mohit Suri says shooting bedroom scenes can be a nightmare.

Suri, who has directed upcoming thriller "Murder 2", a sequel to 2004 hit film "Murder", has shot a few lovemaking scenes with the lead pair Emraan Hashmi and Jacqueline Fernandez.

"Lovemaking is the most difficult scene to shoot because there the director cannot show the actors what to do. You have to let the actors be and let them do their own thing," the 30-year-old director told IANS.

"Although a lot of people say it`s very easy to shoot for physically intimate scenes and it`s fun... that`s all untrue because it is no fun. It`s a very uncomfortable situation. It`s very difficult to shoot, even for the cameraman, because you don`t know in which direction the actor will go. Lighting is also an issue. You have to keep so many things in mind," he added.

In order to make both Emraan and Jacqueline comfortable during the shots, Suri kept intimate scenes for the last schedule.

"I shot all intimate scenes in the end purposely so that Emraan and Jacqueline get to know each other and got that trust and faith in each other before. You can`t ask two people on the first day to do intimate scenes. It`s difficult.

"It`s important that the actors have a rapport before they do such scenes," said Suri who is not new on the job - he has films like "Zehar", "Kalyug", "Woh Lamhe" and "Crook" that have bold scenes.

Released in 2004, director Anurag Basu`s "Murder" was one of the few films of that year to have bold content and Suri reveals that the sequel will also have a heavy dose of the same because that is the requirement of the story.

"If you are showing an illegitimate relationship in a film, it`s unfair to show it with two flowers. Emraan and Jacqueline are friends. They are people who are not in love but they are sleeping together. So you can`t show that relationship by showing them holding hands and singing songs in parks," said Suri.

"But we have not pushed sexual content into the film to grab eyeballs. It was incorporated because it was required," he added.

"Sex in films is always used for titillation. If anyone says that they are using it artistically, they are lying. There is no such thing. But even a song is there for titillation. If you see a good song, it excites you. If you see a good action sequence, it thrills you. If you see a good dance number, it entertains you. So everything is for titillation.

"We are in a business of exciting people. It`s not for artistic reality," said Suri, who is filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt`s nephew.

"Murder 2", which has been produced under the banner of Vishesh Films, is slated to hit screens July 8.

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan is truly Bollywood`s badhshah and his welcome at Toronto`s Fairmont Royal York hotel was proof enough! As around a hundred fans, who waited to catch a glimpse of the actor at the hotel lobby Friday morning, the actor broke into an impromptu little jig despite his knee injury - turning his entry into a mini red carpet walk!

Looking dapper in a casual jacket, jeans and sunglasses, the actor arrived at the hotel amid much cheer, applause, and shout outs from girls who went "SRK, come here, SRK come here".

Ever since the IIFA kickstarted, fans have been awaiting Shah Rukh`s arrival, and they didn`t want to miss it for anything.

Natasha Khalfan, a crazy SRK fan took off from work, and reached the hotel at 8 a.m. even when she knew he won`t arrive before 10 a.m.

"I have taken day off just to see Shah Rukh. I have been following him on Twitter, and he has been writing about his flight and his injury. Whoever wanted to miss the chance of seeing him! Oh my god...I just saw SRK!," an over-excited Khalfan told reporters.

"I even said `I love you` to him, and can you imagine...he looked at me, and smiled back. Oh my god! It`s the most precious moment of my life," said the recently married Khalfan, who tells that her husband proposed to her "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai" style.

Gujarati girl Viral Paun was another fan, who had been awaiting Shah Rukh`s visit, and says she didn`t sleep at all the last night because she feared missing Shah Rukh`s arrival.

There were other young girls - Riya Oommen and Shikha Jagwani from Mississauga, who felt "luckiest" to reach the hotel at the same time as Shah Rukh even when they didn`t know about his flight timings.

"What a perfect timing!" The die-hard "Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge" fans screamed excitedly, and added: "This is the closest as it could get! We were just in time to see him. He is the most talented actor!"

Even the security personnel had a hard time managing the crowds.

"Many actors have come ever since the IIFA kickstarted. But managing Shah Rukh Khan has been the hardest!" said a hotel official.

Shah Rukh has returned to IIFA after six years, and he will be performing at the IIFA awards night after seven years.

Rajini discharged from hospital; set to return home

Millions of fans of South superstar Rajnikanth will breathe a sigh of relief as the actor has been discharged from hospital. The actor’s health has been a reason of concern for millions of his fans for the last one month as he was suffering from kidney ailments.

The actor was discharged on Wednesday morning and doctors have confirmed that he is now fit. The superstar’s son in law, actor Dhanush, tweeted, “Superstar discharged from hospital. He has recovered completely and taking rest. Soon national award celebrations :) god bless.”

Rajini will return to India shortly and resume work on his upcoming film ‘Rana’ which had been stalled due to his illness.

Rajinikanth suffered from exhaustion on April 29, the first day of the shoot of ‘Rana’. He was then admitted to the Isabel Hospital in Chennai and discharged the same day only to be readmitted there on May 4 for allergic bronchitis and viral fever.

He was later taken to Singapore`s Mount Elizabeth Medical Centre, for further treatment.

Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan was named the most distinguished personality of 2010 at the BIG Television Awards here. He says TV is a "complex and vibrant" medium and he admires the small screen fraternity that works tirelessly."So I went to the BigFm TV Awards and came back with one .. the most distinguished personality of the year in TV for the last year...," Amitabh posted on his blog bigb.bigadda.com, following the event Tuesday night.

The 68-year-old, who will be back on the small screen with `Kaun Banega Crorepati 5` starting Aug 15, is in awe of those who work round-the-clock for the small screen.

"The TV industry a revelation for me...a most complex and vibrant medium .. a difficult medium to be in, and most of all a tough medium to be connected with. It takes the mickey out of you when you are asked to perform for it...and I speak from experience," he wrote.

Amitabh made his TV debut with the first season of `Kaun Banega Crorepati` in 2000, against the wishes of his family and friends.

Vidya visits Chennai of 80’s in Mumbai!

It seems Ekta Kapoor is leaving no stone unturned in giving her film ‘Dirty Picture’ starring Vidya Balan an authentic feel. She wants to ensure that her film that is set on the backdrop of Madras (now Chennai) looks real, which is why she has recreated the capital city of Tamil Nadu in Film City, Mumbai.

Talking to a tabloid, director Milan Luthria said, "Right now, we are in full Chennai mode. Wherever we look, we see people dressed in lungis. Tamil posters adorn our walls. We start our day by having idlis to get into the mode."

Milan and Ekta who are hell bent on making Vidya look saucy and sensuous as Silk Smitha, the late south Indian sex bomb, want the sets of the film to look real Madras of the 1980s.

"The production designer, the art team and one of my assistants did an extensive tour of Chennai, Mysore, Pondicherry, Ooty and Hyderabad for two months. They came back with 2,000 photographs. These are the places that reflect the flavour we are trying to replicate. We bought books and watched Hindi and Tamil films shot in the `80s. We put all that together and made a colour palette for the film."

Narrating why they chose to recreate Madras instead of shooting in the city down south Milan said, "It`s not possible to shoot a film like this on real location because a lot has changed geographically. You will find new hoardings, building exteriors; malls and multiplexes have come up."

Vidya was ecstatic and surprised when she walked into the sets for the first time. The filmmaker said, "When Vidya walked on to sets, she was zapped. She didn`t feel that she was in Mumbai. Even a couple of producers who dropped in were stunned."

Obviously, we will never get an answer to the question what really convinces these choosy women that a man is the right one.

Buss carried out similar research, only he highlighted the negative characteristics, such as boredom, dishonesty, drinking, bisexuality, lack of education and unpopularity. Women and men had to classify these characteristics from the least to the most popular for a one-night stand and for a person suitable to marry. Women were much choosier rigorous in terms of these characteristics, compared to men. They would not get married to a person who has the aforementioned characteristics, nor would they go on a date with such a person.

JLo and ex-hubby’s ‘stolen’ intimate tape recovered

A video containing intimate scenes of Jennifer Lopez and her ex-husband Ojani Noa, which was allegedly stolen by his manager, has been recovered.

Noa’s manager Ed Meyer handed over the tape, which will be locked in a safe deposit box at the City National Bank in Century City, California.
